Organisation
The Arctic Station is supervised by a board set up by the Faculty of Science. The board consists of 4 representatives from the botanical, zoological, geological and geographical research institutions, and a 5th member appointed directly by the Faculty of Science. The Arctic Station administration is located in Copenhagen and comprises a single, permanent staff member. The permanent staff at the station comprises the chief scientist, the chief of logistics and the captain of the R/V 'Porsild'.
